What I valued in making mandalas was just how anything you can make on a mandala won’t look bad, simply because of the symmetry. It makes it so that you could do pretty much anything when making a mandala and it would look like something a professional artist would make. Now, I’ve seen multiple mandalas where the drawer just makes random strokes and lines and calls it a day, and while that does end up looking pretty good, I wanted to do something else. I wanted my mandala to basically be a showcase of the many parts of my life, including things that I do, like, or find interesting, and I did this by drawing many symbols and doodles that represent those parts, and I think it turned out well.
