I really like making these mandalas, there’s something very relaxing and therapeutic about zooming into great detail and making these delicate strokes that eventually culminate into one larger whole. It’s all very Zen, which is something I’ve carried with myself in life, like, buddhist principles. For my mandala I was very inspired by the desert and metal music so it came out relatively curvy like desert dunes, but there’s still some jaggedness to the artwork, it’s very blunt as to what it is just like metal music.
