The mandala project was a great assignment to work on during our reflections unit in Digital Media. The entire point of the reflections unit was to learn how to effectively express our personalities and characteristics to others without directly telling them. Through the mandalas, we were given immense freedom to express ourselves creatively. By using different brushes and stroke sizes, I created a non traditional mandala using symbols that are important to me. I incorporated astrology symbols, water and nature, and feminism all in one.
