During the process of creating my mandala, I found myself a lot less agitated. Without any real requirements for the project I could make it as simple or complex as I wanted to. For some assignments I end up worrying about the musts and less about my own ambitions, limiting my creativity for an improved grade.

Reflecting back I’ve learned that less is more when creating art. On my earlier attempts at my mandala they would turn out too intricate, to the point where it looked like a black circle. After redacting more and more features, I end up on a design which doesn’t hurt your eyes when observing it. Too much time was spent trying to create such fine details, which unless peeped, wouldn’t even be seen. Related website
