If I had the chance to redo this project, then I would most likely be more careful when I start drawing in my black and white template, and make sure that all gaps are closed. I want to come up with a design that doesn’t have several unintentional holes and lines sticking out. This way, when I color it in, I won’t have to try and correct my mistakes, or have it look odd in the colored version. I wish I could have picked a different background music for the reveal video, but I didn’t find one that I loved.
I value several aspects of the Mandala Project, one of them being the colored version where you can see it come to life so you can show your personality a bit more. I also value the entire process, from creating the template to coming up with the design. This is because every single step was so important to create the perfect mandala.
While creating this mandala, I learned that I enjoy a challenge, and overcoming it. I also learned that I really enjoy making art and creating something unique. I have come to realize that I like to explore new patterns and new possibilities to create art. With this being my first ever digital art piece, I also learned that I enjoy learning more about how to create art digitally.
