If I could go back and change my process when doing the mandala project I would change my methods of creating the mandala. I would block out the entire thing and then go into small details whereas I started on the outside then skipped to the middle and did it all in high detail. I feel like I could have expedited the process for the reveal video. It took longer than it needed to and it was submitted late because of it.
I loved the mandala project personally because my mom has always been into mandalas and I think talking to her about the project was really cool. It was also a very serene project. I felt like it really reflected personality through artwork. It was a very interpretive project which allowed for a lot more reflective work.
This project really showed how I am and how I view the world. My mandala was very random. A lot of rounded and sharper shapes. No two layers were the same, and I think that is very reflective of who I am. I value the weird things in life and this mandala project really showed that.
