Untitled: A Junior Narrative Diptych by Shefali Vasudevan (2011)

The internal conflict I am showing is pushoverness. The point of no return comes into play when the main character is stealing test answers for a friend. Before pushoverness was just another quality of the girl. Now she is doing something bad and if she gets in trouble then it isn't her friends fault, it is her own. The girl thinks she is helping a friend and being nice, but really she is just hurting herself and doing something which is morally wrong.

To show pushoverness, I show people's hands reaching into the center where the main character stands. They all want her help and she feels obligated to help all of them. The thing she doesn't notice, in the back ground of the shot, is one single door. This signifies the idea that perhaps she could escape this problem of hers. In the second picture the main character is grabbing the test answers. The B. F. F. written on the girl's hand shows how ironic the situation is.
