Self Portrait Diptych: A Junior Self-Portrait Diptych by David Survilo (2011)

I Am. I am unorthodox and carefree. I wonder the ambiguities of nature. I hear fish signing. I see no end. I want nothing but the best. I am unorthodox and carefree. I pretend submerge myself in different dimensions. I feel like a dropping pin. I touch the warm sky. I worry the present. I cry about the end of existence. I am unorthodox and carefree. I understand the moment never lasts. I say live while you can. I dream about flying through time. I try to not see. I hope for survival. I am unorthodox and carefree . My poem portrays my diptych showing how I appreciate the beauty of the moment to an extent where after it passes, my appreciation still remains. These moments are represented through movement such as the split second stillness of objects like wheels. This entitles how in a given light, the moment is everlasting within my conscious mind. On the left side of the diptych, the light is illuminated on the split second frame of the wheel. This represents my everlasting memory of the moment despite how abruptly the moment ends. On the other side of the photo it shows a person exiting a car. This seemingly pointless occurrence represent how I appreciate every little moment that others take it for granted.
