Rooted: A Junior Self-Portrait Illustration by David Survilo (2011)

The illustration shows how I am rooted and very stuck into my morals which is represented by the roots in the ground. Even though I am very diverse and spread out like the limbs of the tree, my one way path of thinking leaves me stuck helpless. Above ground, the tree is seen as a colorful and spread out within the branches. Below the ground, the distinct pattern of the roots show how I as an individual stay locked within my morals and do not change the perception of this for any reason.
