Narcissitic-O's: A Junior Narrative Diptych by Edward Salisbury (2012)

In Design class we got an assignment to create a story from an internal conflict and an external conflict. I chose one of each, randomly, from a list. I got narcissism as an internal conflict and being out of cereal for my external. The story I wrote was of a man who got caught stealing cereal because of his narcissim. He was stealing the cereal because he had none at home and he got caught by staring at his reflection in a mirror. The spotlight on the one animal that's in front of the others is supposed to represent narcissim, whereas the box with only one card in it represents being out of cereal
