The Key: A Junior Narrative Diptych by Vladislav Popovsky (2012)

My story is about a man who is afraid that something is out to get him. He is in the middle of the parking lot walking to his car and he starts imagining that something is behind him. He starts running around, he is all alone at night. He stops and looks around once in a while. Soon he realizes that he dropped his keys near his car in the parking lot, he starts running back to get his keys and gets hit by a car. One side of my diptych represents the man alone being afraid, the keys on the spotlight. Keys unlock doors, keys represents unlocking something. Unlocking the mystery of what the man is running from. The other side is a dead fly on a balcony. It shows that it almost got where it wanted to be but failed.
