Chloe Madison: A Senior Profile Portrait by Teresa Zarmer (2011)

My character is Chloe Madison, a 23 year old student working on her degree at London college. She has a side job working at the local library, which she enjoys just as much as her research. Chloe has a unique love of learning that came from her family. Her family members were all very decisive in their careers, whereas Chloe just wanted to learn everything. She moved to London for her studies because she wants to keep learning new languages and cultures, and so she spends her vacations traveling between nearby countries like France and Germany. In the photo, you can see Chloe with several encyclopedias, academic books that she would use to do her own research. She is shown mid-laugh, showing she not only takes pride in her job but enjoys it as well. Chloe isn't overly feminine; she wears a skirt but her outfits are often slightly mismatched, and she always wears colors, never monotone. Her glasses are just for reading, but sometimes she likes wearing them even when she doesn't actually need them, partly because she thinks they make her look smarter and partly because she knows she might lose them if she set them down.
