Ella's Missing Button: A Senior Comic Strip by Madisen McBride (2012)

Our web illustrations for this project were based off of a short story we wrote in English last semester. My story was based on a teenage girl who had found her soul mate in middle school but had a few bumps in the road along the way. In the end she ends up where she is supposed to be with who she was meant to be. In design, we had to use our stories to created little clay figures that we would use as our animations in our comic stip. I created a little martian that represents all qualities of Ella and came up with her ''lost button'' story as a symbol for the troubles she had along the way. We then made a cartoon strip to represent our metaphorical story.
