Knuckle Touchers: A Junior Narrative Diptych by Chiara Neyman (2013)

The story I wrote was a story of love and betrayal using daps (the touching of knuckles) as a tool of intrigue and a metaphor for intimacy. My aim was to portray that story in these two photographs. The left photo shows a couple bumping knuckles, a display of their affection and union. In the photograph to the right, one lover has been crossed and he isn't having it at all. He is washing his hands of the situation--leaving before it gets worse.
