Snail Tale: A Senior Comic Strip by Isabel Burns (2013)

This comic is based on a short story I wrote for English. In my story, the main character is an artist who moves to the city to “make it” but ends up without inspiration. This is the turnaround moment of the story, when he finally finds something that he wants to paint again. To do this project, we began by making small clay creatures, which we then photographed and used as a reference for our comic.I have very little experience with the programs that we use at Freestyle, and this project helped me to stretch out and become more comfortable with Adobe Illustrator.
