Tom Knucklebolt, known as the resident high school bully in rural Shoals, Indiana, is victim to his father's daily physical abuse. Mark Johnson, Tom's boss and an essential father figure, offers Tom to take boxing classes in order to stand up to his father. Tom is unsure of what to do: stand up to his father and take a chance or continue to be abused. In this scene, Mark offers Tom the boxing gloves needed to take the boxing class. Tom now has to make a choice that will change his life forever. Will he be courageous and take Mark's help or remain a victim for the rest of his life?
