In my essay I talk about finding something fun and using it to escape from reality. I wanted to illustrate something that showed me getting joy from it and something that also showed an escape from reality. I decided to choose the skate ramps because it is something that I love to do and is something that I can do to escape from the day-to-day problems.

The symbols that I use in my Illustration are skate ramps, clouds, and a smiley face. I used the skate ramps because I enjoy skateboarding and it is something I can do to have fun and not get stressed over. I use the clouds to show that this is not a normal skate park, it is a place where there is nothing else around and is away from reality. I positioned my skate ramps into the outline of a happy face. I did this to show that I get joy from the skateboarding and am able to get joy from it.
