My line from my personal essay that I chose was, ''After surrounding myself with people who had negative outlooks on life, my perception of the world shut down.'' This basically means that the people around me have changed my views from positive to negative. I control who the people around me are, but I’m trapped in a cycle that restricts me from seeing the greatness in things.
