Louise: A Narrative Character Portrait by Daniel Petti (2014)

The character I chose to portray was from one of my short stories. Her name is Louise, and she is a successful business woman who has time for work and not much else. This comes through in the photo through her formal outfit and absorption in her phone. This is how she might look if she were, say, waiting for the train that would take her to work. Regardless, at this particular moment, she is completely oblivious to the world around her, instead devoting herself to checking her email, which is a far more important use of her mental faculties.
