Todd Parker: A Narrative Character Portrait by Niamh McLoughlin (2014)

My character's name is Todd Parker. He is an 18 year old who is in his own world. His 8 year old girl neighbor, in which he doesn't know about, is obsessed with him and watches him through her window at all hours. Todd does his own thing throughout the story and this picture captures the point in time where he finally meets her. He has a moment of realization where he wants love in his life. This is the moment where he finally meets Rosie, his neighbor. Rosie realizes that she is looking for a father figure and is extremely scared of Todd. As she runs away, Todd is extremely scared and confused. The black and white is supposed to show his sadness and the side he is positioned on shows that he's looking out for something in his life.
