The Choice: A Narrative Character Portrait by Peter Dyer (2014)

My picture depicts Mike, the main character of the narrative I wrote. In my narrative, Mike is at a decisive moment in his life in which he must choose whether he will pursue a career in football or baseball. He is both a star quarterback and a star pitcher, but has come to a point in his life where he cannot continue to be a two-sport athlete. I illustrate his situation in in my project by placing Mike on the ground with a baseball mitt and a football in front of him. Mike is looking at the mit and the ball with a troubled expression on his face to demonstrate the tough decision which he faces. He is wearing a football jersey in the photo because in my narrative he made the decision just after a football game. Overall I thought my photo portrayed the main character and theme of my narrative well.
