Fallen Leaf: A Senior Narrative Book Jacket by Collin Frietzsche (2014)

Fallen Leaf is a children's fiction book about a family of dogs that have a red maple tree in their backyard. The idea centralizes around the art of patience and the good that comes from it. The design centered around the tree branches and backyard landscape to give off a friendly and enticing image.

All the drawings were created using Adobe Illustrator and then exported into Adobe InDesign for formatting. The benefits of using both applications gave me the power to edit the drawings in Illustrator, and to deal with text effects in InDesign. The combination of the two is unstoppable.
