The Coffeeshop: A Senior Narrative Book Jacket by Helena Steffens (2014)

The book jacket I designed is based off of the screenplay I wrote in English for my film. The story is about a boy and girl in highschool who meet at a coffeeshop. The boy falls in love with the girl but the girl doesn't exactly like the boy. Eventually, however, they end up together.

I created a simple book jacket to portray my theme. There are relatively mild colors incorporated into it to lend a smooth flow to the overall idea of my ''book''. I also photographed a plate of coffee grinds and traced out a heart to display on the back of my book cover. Lastly, I used flowy elements like the wavy lines coming from the cups to contribute to the love theme.
