Shattered Glass: A Senior Narrative Book Jacket by Lora Maslenitsyna (2014)

My book is called ''Shattered Glass'' as a reference to my main character's epiphanies. In an effort to be as obvious as possible with this metaphor, a character in my story shatters a glass vase. Thus, I wanted to created a minimalistic perception of broken shards of glass on my book cover. I used InDesign to plan out and draw the pieces. I used the pen tool to make the shapes and also the gradient tool to help add dimension to the front cover's pieces.
