The edge: A Senior Explorations Amplified Piece by Austin Sarinas (2014)

The main idea of my piece is looking down the ''edge'' which can be seen as the end of your life or experimenting something new in life. Which why it is blurry because you do not know the outcome of stepping or falling off the edge.

I scanned the painting of our topic of ''Over the edge'' onto Photoshop. I did some touch ups such as removing some random brown paint marks on the sky. I then added a picture of someone standing. I flipped the person to make him look like he was looking downwards to the left. I used a plugin called flood to create the watery bottom look making the island appear to be in water while other islands appear to be floating. I then used a blur to create that appearance of depth of view.
