Next Top Model: A Senior Humor or Satire Art Project by Gabrielle Makower (2014)

For my humor piece I used the comedic outlets of satire, irony, and caricature. We used the character Miranda Sings as an inspiration. She is a great example of all of these forms of humor. I decided that for my humor piece I would make a magazine cover, starring myself as the glorious character, Miranda Sings.

To create my magazine cover, I started by taking a photograph in the studio. I then color corrected and enhanced the image in Photoshop. After cropping, I added the headline title to the top and mocked the ''Cosmopolitan'' magazine. Finally, I added humorous text all around the image to make it further resemble a magazine cover.
