Fasketball: A Senior Humor or Satire Art Project by Matthew Shearer (2014)

The subject I chose for my humor project was a made up sport called Fasketball. It is a combination of soccer and basketball where the players try to kick a soccer ball into the hoop. I decided to use this sport to do a parody of the popular ''Got Milk'' advertisements. I had my classmate Drew kick the soccer ball, in a very awkward way to show that we aren't very good at this game. I also added in a very detailed picture of his face with a very serious expression to make fun of the advertisement.

I used Adobe Photoshop to make this piece. I took both photos and edited them to give a little more contrast. I also raised the clarity on the shot of the face a lot. I then dropped the face into the picture and added a drop shadow to make it seem more intense.
