Blood: A Senior Amplified Art Project by Alexander Hammerschmidt (2015)

For the Blink unit we had to create a mandala and a couple things right after writing a quick write about what we were basically thinking. For one of them, we had to write a word from one of our quick writes and put a bunch of patterns in it. That one was fun because my word was blood and so when I was finished with it, I smeared red paint all over it. For the amplified part, we had to combine all three of the art pieces and make them relate to a central image and topic. I made mine have a dark theme to it so I had a dark photo of my neighborhood as the background. After we combined all three images into one thing, we had to put text from one of our quick writes and have it relate to the central image.
