Crying Bridge: A Senior Surreal Photo by Alexander Kim (2015)

The way the bridge morphs into the the side with a purple aura gives contrast to the sky which is enclosed by a texture used from the ground. This is supposed to provide a closed and directional focus. I used a combinations of filters, textures and adjustment layers to produce the mystical and magical effect. This photo is supposed to look other-worldly.

I wanted my photo to look mystical, magical, and almost scary. The color scheme consisted of black and white photos while the bridge was surrounded by purple. I utilized texture to provide the most attractive look for my piece. The story is about a journey in a world that looks so familiar, but it isn't.
