Bearded Dragon: A Senior Surreal Photo by Siyuan Che (2017)

This surreal artwork serves to convey that this urban era we live in is constantly building cities in the cost of mother nature. So the story behind this artwork is that the last bearded dragon lizard lives underground, rooting under a large tree and far away from the busy city landscape. The rest of its species has gone extinct under the heavy influence of the human race.

In the process of creating this artwork, I took photos of a lizard, trees, grass and dirt, and then merged then together in photoshop. In order create more depth to the piece, I applied several filters and layers of texture to the artwork.
