Transport: A Junior Conceptual Transport Project by Alexa Hamlin (2017)

The object in my photo is a suitcase and I photographed the the underside so you could see the wheels on the other side as well. I also placed the suitcase so that there were shadows that would be seen. I wanted to choose an angle that not everyone sees when looking at a suitcase. I got down on the ground and put the camera on the ground so it would capture the underside. I made the wheel on the front not in focus so that the emphasis would be on the wheel in the back. I chose the suitcase because it shows transporting clothing and I thought it was interesting to use that instead of using something different.

In my photoshop process I cropped the photo to show rule of thirds and to help fill up the frame. I also wanted to sharpen and clarify the whole photo to make it look better. I tried to emphasize the color of the suitcase by turning up the purple colors in the picture. I turned the brightness up a little bit to make the picture brighter. Overall this process helped me learn a lot in photoshop and made me feel more comfortable with finding the different tools.
