For this project, I wanted to keep everything very simple, as it was being produced alongside my Documentary project. I decided to base my flyer on a (nonexistent) cat show because I like cats and I wanted to incorporate cats into my project in some way. I ended up using a photo of my cat along with very simple designs and a very basic color scheme to make everything feel unified.
I feel like this project was very helpful in the long run because I had to use Adobe InDesign to produce a small magazine article as part of my Documentary project. I was not very comfortable using the program at the time, but creating the flyer gave me more practice with InDesign. I think that, because of this project, I was able to improve my magazine article and become more confident with Adobe InDesign.
