I chose to make this One Page Event Flyer for this particular organization/event because it relates to my elective, which is film. I believe that the “organization” I am making this for, though it is fictitious, is important and since it relates to my personal interests, I believe that it was a very relevant poster to me. Since this is true, I have a larger motivation to create this flyer than if I created a poster on a different subject.
I am very proud of the different effects I used on the text in order to make it seem bright. It is unlike anything I have created on a design application, which makes me more proud of my own work. I am also proud of the shape design in the middle of the poster. The rectangles surrounding the ticket photo was something that interested me while making it because its symmetry is something I have not attempted much prior to making this. I am also proud of the photos on the bottom of the flyer (the movies). I assembled some frames on the bottom of the flyer in order to add movie posters onto the flyer in order to convey the message of the poster. Overall, I am very proud of my InDesign Flyer because I attempted many things I have not before.
