Chaotic Doodles: A Junior Illustration Project by Izzy Del Alcazar (2021)

For this project, I chose to create stickers using some little doodles I drew in my sketchbook. I thought this would be a really fun choice for my Illustrator project since it gives me an opportunity to use things that I drew and make them into usable decorations instead of just paper. Usually when I draw something I just cut it out of my sketchbook and pin it on the wall, but for the stickers I could give them to my parents if they wanted to decorate their computers or I could put it on the covers of my notebooks so they're decorated in my own art. Also I just like stickers because they're fun to put on stuff and usually very vibrant and colorful. I think the things I would change on this project is just having more stickers drawn, for instance I really like my tooth drawing so I would have more of those, and also maybe the legs but in different colors. Also I think if I were to do this project over again I would give myself more time to do it. I thought that I could do it all in one night, but even when it comes to drawing after a certain amount of time my brain gets tired. With this project I also grew in my appreciation of digital art. Although I personally prefer drawing with a pencil and pen, doing digital art takes much practice and dedication, which I didn’t really get before doing this. I think that if I keep at it with digital art I will enjoy it almost as much as I enjoy drawing in my sketchbook. It will just take time and dedication and I am very excited to keep learning and growing as a digital artist. Related website
