For this project, I was inspired by a photography contest I submitted too back in October. One of my photos got chosen and featured in the exhibition which I was really proud of. I definitely grew my understanding and ability of InDesign. Last week when we first started using InDesign I was confused with the application but I kept trying and I am happy with how my flyer turned out even though it’s pretty simple. One struggle was coming up with the information to put on the page. When I decided on the theme of the flyer the step after that stumped me. It took me a good 30 minutes trying to come up with creative ideas I could write about that related to a photo contest. If I were to change something I would add more details around the border to make it more interesting to viewers. Honestly, the thing I’m most proud of is the photos I included. Overall, even though this project is practice for other assignments I really liked it and I’m excited to use InDesign more.
