The message behind my Photoshop Surreal project is that everything in the world is connected to one another. My project illustrates a human eye with the Earth as the pupil of the eye. There is water dripping down from the Earth in order for the ship to sail. Additionally, there is water splashing above the eye to create the sky full of stars. I grew from creating this artwork by improving my Photoshop skills and expanding my imagination.
The struggles that I encountered were trying to make the stars surround the iris without touching the Earth inside the eye’s pupil. The thing I would change is finding the right eye to use. I searched for a very long time trying to figure out how to find the right macro photo. The thing I am most proud of with this project is coming up with the idea and using my imagination to guide me. I will take the skills and knowledge I used for this project and use them in future projects by incorporating more imagination and creativity. This project changed the way I see other’s art because it has shown me how it is easier said than done.
