For my surreal project, I chose to construct a scene of a bearded dragon sitting on a rock in the middle of the ocean. Since bearded dragons typically live in hot, dry deserts, the image of one in the middle of a choppy ocean is somewhat bizarre. I used masks to remove the background of my images, and clipping masks and adjustment layers to make it look like a more cohesive image. I liked that this project have me a way to practice the Photoshop skills that we have been learning in class, and I will continue to use these techniques in future endeavors.
