For my phenakistoscope wheel, I wanted to be able to practice drawing while still making something that looked cool. I didn't have that much prior drawing experience, so I thought that drawing faces at different angles would be cool while also helping me practice. Since I still had a lot of extra space in the middle, I decided to draw a bouncing ball just to also practice that movement.
