My phenakistoscope animation loop depicts a grandma rocking back and forth on a rocking chair. It is meant to serve as comedic relief for an audience rather than express a hidden deep meaning. The warm pastel colors in my animation wheel imitate the sense of warmth that people typically associate with their relatives' homes. The yarn ball is something typically associated with grandmas, which explains my addition of it in the center. I enjoyed bringing my drawing to life by exaggerating it, as I'm heavily inspired by the type of humorous animation present in Pixar animated movies and such.
