Making this pastel painting, I used the tool eyedrop to get the color for whatever section I'm working on and continue on doing the same with the rest of the photo, little by little. It took me three days to finish the girl (me dressed as a Mafia GodMother for halloween).
What I value in this project was how detailed I painted and came out great like the photo.
I enjoyed capturing the colors and making it pop with the strokes I made. Seeing so many colors in the photo made me realize what I'm missing in my traditional paintings.
