A Piece of my Childhood: A Senior Digital Watercolor Painting by Noah Esparza (2021)

The story behind my Photoshop Watercolor Painting was that growing up I always had a love for apples and specifically red apples. There was always something that was special about them to me from the sweetness to the perfect red color of an apple. A perfect apple has always made my day and I never find myself never eating one. It brings back memories and a part of my childhood that made me who I am today.

Some more meaningful connections I have towards my Photoshop Watercolor Painting are one my childhood. Growing up I was a picky eater and apples were always a go to for me. Second would have to be comfortness as weird as it may sound. I love having a fresh sweet apple that makes me happy and brings a feel of comfortness. Third and finally growing up it taught me to mature and try new foods that I never knew I’d ever like.

I valued getting to learn how to use Photoshop Watercolor brushes to help create my project. It helped me earn a new skill that I never knew about or knew how to do which I now do, giving me that ability to create even more watercolor paintings. I valued getting to create a watercolor painting about my childhood and how meaningful it is to me personally. Getting to express our creativity through these types of paintings has been eye opening for me and I value and understand the work that is put into these types of watercolor paintings.
