My family used to have a mini-garden in our balcony. After my mom moved away though, the plants slowly died up until now; I visited the dead plants today and me and my brother found that amongst the dead plants, there were was a completely new one growing! While they are probably some type of weeds, I think it is quite fascinating that out of this small area, through high winds and very heavy rain, something was able to grow out of nothing. And I think in some way that connects to aging, when someone or something dies, something new grows out of it, and its really cool that I could capture that in this photo.
