One of my only favorite aspects of my culture are my grandparents cooking crepes, or formally should be renamed to блинчики (Blinkchiki). I was lucky enough that my relatives could visit this September, and I was able to try these awesome crepes again- and take this awesome photo as well! I ate these style of crepes all the time as a kid, usually you’d have it with jam, or other Russian treats I don’t know how to translate, but I like to eat them plain, with just a little butter. They are perfectly crispy on the outside, and very soft and buttery on the inside, absolutely delectable!
