The Process:
I had asked my friend one afternoon on a Friday if she would like to take a walk with me around our apartment complex’s (while I took some pictures). One of the places we went to was this pond shown, which was home to many ducks, geese, fish and turtles. It was a pond I used to go to a lot (as I used to live here) and was very fond of, and it was nice to revisit it and take some cool photos. I had taken this photo on a whim and later revisited it to find it so beautiful.

The Product:
While I took many photos there (more of those you can find in Photos off the Job), this one was far one of my favorites and best one. When I first read the prompt “Weight or Mass” I had no clue what that even meant in terms of words, but when I saw this picture I really felt it. The overwhelming feeling of the dark blues around the light in the middle… almost closing in on itself. Like the light is about to flicker out. Or, the opposite! Of which the light is conquering the darkness from the middle, like a door opening. It’s truly the first one of my photos that made me feel something (and I hope you do too!).
