For the inspiration of sunsets, I always really liked the way the light pierced through windows in the afternoon and creates rays of light. This photo was taken in the San Francisco Caltrain station, I thought that the sunset looked interesting as it set through the flag.
In displaying visual weight or mass, a few of the properties are having high contrast areas, Bright areas, and contrasting visuals. I attempted to accomplish this style by looking for objects that were very reflective or had high contrast to their surrounding environment.
