It took a while to come up with an idea for a self-portrait without showing my face. I though a lot about how I could represent myself through objects rather than features. For the majority of people, we spend much of our time in our rooms. More specifically, beside our beds. It is where we shove and display things with sentimental or physical value. It is where I keep objects that hold meaning and things in everyday life that I use. I think that what we keep beside our beds or where we display items show the most authentic and raw versions of ourselves.
