When I visited Tokyo Tower, the foreboding amount of stairs (which I did not take) already posed a challenge, informing me how tall it would be. However, I still wasn’t prepared for the glass floors at the top. I attempted to stand on them a few times, but could barely inch a foot over the edge of the glass before I got nervous. Despite the security of the floor, I was terrified that I would face a sudden exit and plummet to my death.
