Documentary

How do you creatively and truthfully portray a significant person, group, place, idea, or issue in the community?

Narrative

Stories worth being told.

When I’m not immersed in the captivating world of movies, you’ll find me frolicking with my two canine companions, Solstice and Blaze, and getting lost in drumming.

In my (limited) leisure time you might catch me skateboarding through the streets or indulging in my dream of soaring through the sky. These pursuits fuel my spirit for my creative endeavors with a sense of freedom and exploration.

Freestyle is a program I truly believe is like no other in the world, its not just unique in the content it teaches, or even the way it teaches the content. But in the community here like no other. Freestyle is a rare place where creatives can come together to make something truly magical.

Little did I know how incredible this opportunity is going to be.

At home, the silver screen becomes my portal to another world. Together with my mom, we traverse the cinematic landscape, pulling from 250 IMDB rated movies of all time and other cult classics.

Creativity lies at the core of my being, a beacon guiding me through life. I believe that every individual possesses an infinite wellspring of creativity, just waiting to bloom into its full splendor. My mission is to inspire others to infuse creativity into their daily lives, to seek novelty in the mundane, and to experience the exhilaration that comes with breaking free from convention.

While my passion for movies encompasses a broad spectrum of cinema, the Star Wars saga holds a sacred place in my heart. I proudly embrace my inner nerd, passionately discussing the nuances and rankings of these iconic films. (Its Episode 5, Episode 3 and Rogue 1) In fact, I’m currently in the process of constructing my own lightsaber, destined to accompany my Darth Vader ensemble for the upcoming Halloween. (The journey to Ilum will be a little tough)

A few other beloved films that have ignited my imagination:

  • Everything Everywhere All at Once
  • How to Train Your Dragon
  • Fight Club
  • Top Gun Maverick
  • Interstellar
  • The Martian
  • Forrest Gump
  • Mary Poppins

I have large ambitions in life, although I may not know where this path will lead me, I know I have a passion for creating documentaries, and I also adore science, and I want to go make something of the two, but what that is yet, I still do not know.

This passion for space and documentary has unlocked some pretty cool things, I had the distinct honor of interviewing Sue Horne, the Head of Space Exploration at the UK Space Agency, and Lewis Dartnell, the author behind “The Knowledge: How to Rebuild Our World from Scratch” and “Life in the Universe: A Beginner’s Guide.” After those interviews I made a presentation for my entire school about the future of space and exploration especially for our generation.
