Animatic

An animatic is a very rough, preliminary cut up giving the basic story for how an animation should flow. The purpose of this is to allow the creator to visualize the final product without having to make a detailed version that resembles a final draft.

I based my screenplay off of a flash fiction I wrote in English class. That screenplay was then transformed into a short graphic novel, which ultimately came to be the animatic on this web page. I learned that the process of idea to final story line was black and white.

I’d like to thank Mr. Greco for helping me form my story and really make it more than just one-dimensional. A big thank you goes out to Mr. Flo for making it possible for me to get everything in my head out and into the animatic. Lastly, I would like to thank Kalani for being the only voice talent to appear in my animatic.
