I chose to capture the basketball jerseys on my little sisters wall for this photo blog based off of the prompt “sports stories.” I think this aspect of her room really tells a story about her love for basketball and how intertwined it is with her identity. The three jerseys, all from separate eras of her basketball career, suggest that she has lots of history and memories with the sport. I wanted this picture to be somewhat like the documentary book photos we explored in class, giving the viewer insight into my sister without ever actually seeing her.
